The Best of 2015: Beauty/Skincare/Hair Edition

I know I keep interchanging "the best' and "favorites" but you get the idea ;p

In no particular order here are my "The Best of 2015 - Beauty Edition."

NYX Lippies Collection

I ain't no beauty guru, but a beauty enthusiast. I REALLY like make up for some reason. Recently I've become a lipstick fanatic and took advantage of the ULTA 40% sale off NYX, ALMAY, PHYSICIAN FORMULA, REVLON products. I've owned a few nyx lipsticks before and fell in love with the pigmentation and formula of the lip products. Although you do get what you pay for, the color may not last a VERY long time (especially after you eat or drink something) but hey - the price is very affordable, you can just repurchase it if you really like a certain color.

With crazy amounts of choices, I researched  A LOT before purchasing these shades especially because I feel like I have a limited amount of choices because of my skin tone. And unless they come out with new colors I don't think I'll ever be purchasing other shades outside the ones I will show here. I'm done with my NYX lippies binge.

NYX Soft Matte cream

May feel drying due to the "matte" finish, however the colors are beautifully pigmented!

Man, my camera made the colors look very similar, although they are all around the same color scheme, they each have their individual beauty.

Day 12

Her Reasoning: He's a soccer guy. There was a time we wenet to H&M and he found the "David Beckham" line and went all nerdy about it. He bought a thermal the first time and I'd thought i would expand his "Beckham" line. Plus I'm trying to turn him into a hipster~~ HAHA just kidding. 

His Response: The way she wraps the gifts and the theme with which she wraps the gifts seems to be a clue as to what I might be getting *saying this in a Sherlock Holmes voice (Robert Downey Jr. or Benedict Cumberpatch take your pick). Anyway, the soccer paper on the outside tied into David Beckham, who has a fashion line with H&M. Now I got 2 beanie caps to keep my head warm this winter!

His Reason: This was another one of those items I cheated on by asking her if there was anything she needed from amazon so I could get free shipping lol, but she wanted the face wash so it worked out in the end.

Her Response: Heard really good reviews on this facial scrub - especially for people with oily skin. Kinda told him I wanted this or rather "hinted" hehe

His Response: I lol`d. I like this one better than the one we saw at Newbury Comics - which was of the actual Sriracha logo and bottle. This is different. I liked how she presented it in a hand made Sriracha bottle! 

Her Reasoning: He's likes Sriracha and he was REALLY into a shirt we saw in the past but I PERSONALLY didn't like it - so I was like no. LOL. I tried my best making the bottle. The top was kind of a fail but that's the best I could do with the limited supplies that I had. I also failed on writing the Viet characters so I just left it out. I didn't want to butcher the language >___<#

Hers-

Her Response: Lipstick I wanted! Coral Ambition. I've been really into lipsticks these days and I lean more towards coral/pinkish colors! And this one had such a beautiful color!

His Response: This one I sort of cheated a little bit. I was ordering stuff from Amazon and needed a few more things to get FREE SHIPPING. So I asked her if there was anything she needed/wanted/waiting for/longing for. She gave me a list and I picked the lipstick because I knew she wanted/needed/longed to expand her lipstick collection. So I purchased this one because I thought the color would look good on her!
